AEROPRESS

Ingredients:

  • 17 gr. coffee beans
  • Electric kettle
  • Purified or bottled water
  • Aeropress and filter paper
  • Mixing spoon
  • Digital or analog scale
  • Stopwatch
  • One coffee mug or glass serving bowl

Preparation:

  1. Fill your kettle with purified or bottled water and bring to a boil.
  2. Place your paper in the filter chamber of the Aeropress and rinse with hot water.
  3. Weigh 17 gr. coffee and grind it on the filter coffee setting.
  4. Place the Aeropress on a flat surface with the filter chamber facing upwards.
  5. Pour the ground coffee into the reservoir and fill with hot water up to level 5. Stir gently for 10 seconds with a spoon.
  6. Allow the coffee to brew for 30 seconds. After brewing, close the filter lid.
  7. Quickly turn the Aeropress upside down, close the cup and strain the coffee into the cup by applying pressure for 20 or 30 seconds.
  8. Aim for a total brewing time of one to one and a half minutes.
